I swear, I was just trying to get vitamin D. whats so wrong with that? Its healthy and good for you. As people may have noticed, I might have a tendency for the lower cut, the opposite of turtleneck, if you will. Usually socially acceptable, or at least no one has told me otherwise. Except for when I tried to go into a mosque in akko (its in the tour book). I was wondering why they tried to throw fabric at me. maybe it was the language barrier so they couldn’t just say that my neck was distracting for prayer, instead, just come at me with fabric. I finally figured out it. But people, I don’t wear used clothing, I have no idea where that cloth has been : ) I put on my jacket. Thank ‘whatever holy being you prefer’ that I brought it (see way back Prague entry of adventure in orthodox shul). I think I have the ‘cultural credit’ paper practically written with this entry.
Akko is another mixed city that is very very very old. Apparently, what that means is that when you conquer it, you just build on top of what was already there. It’s the layered look, if you will. And apparently what that means for me is that there are a lot of stairs up and down on your tour (made worse when you are trying to be a good friend and carry your friend’s way overpacked backpack) and that your audio tour is really long with lots of dates in it. which also reminds you why you never took a history class after 10th grade world history. Im smart in other ways.
Also went to rosh hanikra which besides taking a lot of picture to make you jealous (summary: Mediterranean, grottos, sun, happy), not too much else to report. Just gorgeous. No embarrassment there to tell you.
i understand... i couldn't pray with your sexy neck around either. if i prayed, that is.
