my attending today decided to casually tell patients that its my birthday tomorrow and therefore i had the honor of giving a differential diagnosis or explanation of something to the patient. my favorite. anyways, one patient took the opportunity to say 'happy birthday, how many times do i get to spank you?' to which i ran out disgusted.
this is why i want my patients to be drugged up with a tube in them. talking to patients is overrated. take that, pps.
